The project involves a reconfiguration aimed at creating a more spacious and comfortable living environment. The kitchen is combined with the living room, while the main bedroom is adapted into a master suite with a walk-in closet and bathroom. As a result, the apartment feels more open and functional
The color scheme is chosen in cool tones with a warm undertone, harmoniously reflecting the climate of the capital. Light shades make the interior brighter and more airy, while subtle classical elements add sophistication and create a connection with the architectural context of the neighborhood.
Special attention is given to the flooring. The original parquet is preserved, carefully restored, and refinished in a lighter shade. This highlights the character of the interior while giving the space a fresh and contemporary feel.
In the hallway, the storage unit is divided into 2 zones: one for clothing and one for shoes. The deeper section for hanging clothes is finished in white, blending seamlessly with the walls and avoiding visual heaviness.
In the dining area, the table is positioned against the wall but can easily be moved when more guests need to be accommodated. In the living room, the centerpiece is a round sofa that creates a sense of comfort and evokes the softness of a cloud.
The bathroom floor is finished with terrazzo-effect tiles, which resonate with the kitchen backsplash and countertop, visually uniting different areas of the apartment into a single composition.
For the shower area, rectangular glass blocks are chosen as a practical alternative to smooth glass, since they show fewer water stains. They create a sense of privacy while adding texture and depth to the interior.
